Families may choose a buy-out option instead of participating in the World’s Finest Chocolate Fall Fundraiser or the Boosterthon Spring Fundraiser. Note that a limited supply of chocolates will be available this year. Therefore, it will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. If chocolate supplies run out, the family will have to use the buy-out option.

FAQs regarding the Curriculum Fund and Fundraisers:
Note: Chart below is the projected budget from the 2018-2019 school year.

What does the curriculum fund pay for?
The curriculum fund pays for the school IB certification and IB professional development for the BCS teachers. A large percentage of the budget will go towards computers to promote technology use to the students.

What does the fundraiser pay for?
The PTO hosts a separate Fall and Spring Fundraiser. Every grade level at BCS will participate in different field trips. Our PK students go to the Houston Children’s Museum, Houston Zoo and Oil Ranch while our middle school students will take a trip to San Antonio, Austin or Washington D.C. Teacher support includes level books and other supplies that the class fund does not cover.
