This Week:
- Monday 9am: Elementary spelling bee—parents and non-competing students are welcome to attend.
- Monday 2:05pm: Middle School spelling bee—parents are welcome. This event is not open to non-competing students.
- Wednesday 5:30pm: 5th Grade Parents Exhibition Meeting.
- Wednesday 6-7:30pm: Monthly PTO Meeting—please come learn what’s happening at school and how you can help improve BCS.
- Friday: Applications/forms due:
- Sibling enrollment form
- GT (Gifted & Talented) testing application for students other than K or 5th Grade who are not yet identified as GT (K and 5th are tested annually)
- BCS Middle School application
- HISD Magnet application.
- Saturday 10am-12noon: Middle School community service—all sign up spots are filled for St. Martin’s Church.

Information from recent morning announcements:
- Volleyball uniforms are due back to Coach Z.
- Footballs are not allowed at school. All other athletic balls are allowed. Please direct any questions to Mr. Heinze.
