Boosterthon Challenges

Hi, Broncos. Our pep rallies were Monday February 4th and our Boosterthon Fun Run fundraiser is underway. We have lots of fun challenges:

(1) School Goal:

Our school goal is to raise $15,000 for new technology for our students.

(2) Mr. Heinze’s 50 States Challenge:

Mr. Heinze has announced that if the school gets Fun Run pledges from all 50 United States, he will dress as Cupid and run 50 laps around the school! We are missing 15 states. Can you get a pledge from one of these states?

  • Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming

(3) Middle School Color Run Challenge:

If Middle School students raise $2,000 for BCS, their Fun Run will be a Color Run where their teachers will throw clouds of color for students to run through. As of Tuesday afternoon, they are about $425 away from the color run goal of $2,000.

(4) Daily Challenges:

(A) Final/Tuesday daily challenge:  Today is the last day before our Fun Run. Please get all your pledges in at funrun.com. If you have not bought out of your PTO spring fundraising obligation, please register at least the minimum pledge requirement at funrun.com tonight. For the grade level that gets the most new pledges today, a student will get to pie Zach Attack in the face at the beginning of the fun run in front of everyone.

(B) Monday’s daily challenge was for every student that gets a minimum NEW pledge of at least $1 per lap will receive their normal prizes PLUS a booster bonus mystery prize! Congrats to 87 students that won the MYSTERY PRIZE!

(C) Friday’s WEEKEND challenge was for Friday through Sunday. If a student receives a total of $2 per lap in NEW pledges ($60 in flat donations) or more over the three days, he/she will receive the flick football prize! Congratulations to the 35 students that met the weekend challenge and won the flick football prize!

(D) Thursday’s daily challenge was for every new pledge a student gets today, their name will be put into a raffle for a very special booster bonus mystery prize! Thanks for your support! Sponsors (including parents) can pledge more than once during the pledge drive, at any amount, to help with challenges. Congratulations to the raffle winner Kaitlyn R. in Mrs. Rebullida’s class! She won a new skateboard!

(E) Wednesday’s daily challenge was the grade that gets the most new pledges at funrun.com will get to silly string the Boosterthon Team on Thursday! The teachers of the winning grade will win a free Sonic drink of their choice. Congratulations to our winners:

  • Elementary:  Kindergarten!
  • Middle School:  7th Grade!

(F) Tuesday’s daily challenge was the classroom that gets the most new pledges at funrun.com will get to pie Zach Attack and the Boosterthon team in the face on Wednesday! Congratulations to our winners:

  • Elementary:  Ms. Preston’s kindergarten class!
  • Middle School:  Ms. Tallon’s 7th grade class!

(G) Monday’s daily challenge was which grade level could register the most students at funrun.com. Congratulations, Pre-K for winning the challenge!

(5) Class Registration Challenge:

This week there is a Class Registration Challenge.  Classrooms that register every student at funrun.com by Friday February 8 will get a free dress day on Friday February 15 and students can come to school out of uniform! To get this prize, every student in the class must be registered. It’s fast and costs nothing to register.
