- Now through April 12: On-line sales of Earth Day picnic wristbands
- Now through April 20: Scholastic book fair on-line
- All week: Closed campus for STAAR testing. Briarmeadow will be closed to all parents and visitors. This includes the cafeteria. Parents may not go past the lobby before school and cannot remain on campus once school begins.
- Tuesday April 9: Kinder Field Trip– Urban Farming
- Wednesday April 10: PK Field Trip– Children’s Museum
- Wednesday April 10: 1st Grade Field Trip– Houston Arboretum
- Wednesday April 10 6-7:30pm: Dads Club meeting at Mike’s Ice House

- Earth Day Picnic Planning:
- We need your help with picnic donations. Bring donations to the lobby or carpool drop off from April 11-16:
- PreK – 1st Grade: Desserts-grocery store bakery cookies, brownies, etc. (no nuts please)
- 2nd – 4th Grade: Chips-individually wrapped
- 5th – 8th Grade: Drinks-juice boxes/pouches, water, soda
