This is the off week for the Charter Chatter Newsletter. The PTO has some information to share:

1. PTO meeting September 4 6-7:30pm
2. Room parent meetings September 10 9am or 6pm
3. Peace Day t-shirt orders due September 13
4. After school enrichment classes

1. PTO Meeting September 4 6-7:30pm

• Our PTO meets monthly. All parents and caregivers are welcome. PTO leaders discuss school events, fundraising, volunteer opportunities, etc.
• Come to a meeting and let us know what volunteer role fits your talents. Leadership spots and other positions are open, and we need more volunteers to make the year a success.

2. Room Parent Meetings September 10 9am or 6pm

• These are informational meetings for room parents and those interested in being room parents to talk about what room parents do, discuss best practices, ideas, etc. Please attend either 9am or 6pm.
• Classrooms can have more than one room parent. To find out if your classroom needs room parents, please check with your teacher.

3. Peace Day T-shirt Orders Due September 13

• Attached is the Peace Day t-shirt order form. Orders for our $12 Peace Day t-shirts are due Friday September 13. Only pre-ordered t-shirts will be printed.
• With a credit card you can order online (and order picnic wristbands).
• To buy a t-shirt with cash fill out the paper form, attach your cash, and drop it in the PTO Mailbox in the lobby.

4. After School Enrichment Classes

• Please support our vendors by signing up for classes. Some of the classes are taught by Briarmeadow teachers.
• Classes that do not meet the minimum headcount requirements will be canceled or combined when possible.
• You can see the schedule and flyers here. Please contact the vendors directly to enroll or ask questions.
