Thursday September 27th is Parent University: Family Night–an IB (International Baccalaureate) Night for parents to come to school with their students and learn about their students’ Lines of Inquiry during their first month of school. It is like an Open House with a little extra. Bring your kids. Visit their classroom. See what they’ve been learning. Ms. Flanders’ Middle School theater enrichment class will have a performance about Grandparents.
This is not a PTO-sponsored event; further details to come from the school.
Parent University is an HISD-wide initiative to inform parents and help them help their kids learn. Each HISD school is having an event tonight to kick off Parent University. BCS’s event is focused on seeing what your students have been learning–letting them show you what they know.
